CERVEPAR
The extension consisted of introducing a high load anaerobic reactor into an existing conventional activated sludge plant to enable it to be adapted to the higher load conditions of the effluent to be treated. In this way, the plant was configured in a treatment train with an IC reactor for the majority reduction of organic matter followed by an aerobic polishing developed on concrete chambers with a supply of aerated air through slow mechanical aerators and separation of secondary circular settling phases.
